I Got Pregnant at 19

To start, I hated school. I felt like the school I was attending wasn’t working. That and I’ve been moved from state to state my whole life. I was a troubled kid; I was never in school. I wanted to be out hanging out with “friends.” I didn’t listen and I disrespected everyone sadly. I got pregnant at 19, had my daughter at 20, then had another at 21. Two girls and I’m happy to be a mom, but I feel like such a failed mother. I don’t have anything to show them, and I want them to be able to say look what my mommy has done. I have goals and dreams. I want to open up my own salon. I'm starting my GED journey to prove to my kids that I am somebody. Everyone said I was going to fail at life, and I honestly have, but I will work as hard as I need to get my GED and put myself through school to do something I love to do!

It starts with YOU. No matter what your situation is, you can BE A BETTER YOU! Believe in yourself and prove that you can do anything you put your mind to!
