Are There Free GED programs?

A good source for free GED classes is your local GED community college or adult school. Your local library may have GED-for-free classes and GED courses online for free.

There are lots of ways to prepare for the GED for free. We offer a practice test for GED online for free, free GED classes, and free GED diploma online study resources. There is no obligation when you use our free GED courses and free GED practice tests.

It might seem simpler and maybe even cheaper to buy a fake GED on the Internet. Last I looked there were about 20 websites claiming to sell GEDs for a few hundred bucks. They’ll even throw in some fake transcripts from the fake school. Sounds good until you try to get a job or enroll in college. It’s illegal in many states to falsify your education or background to get a job. So the shortcut can be the long way around in the end.
