Sydney's Story

I feel that it’s the best option for me to get my GED because I’m never at school and I’m so behind it’s not even funny and it just puts so much stress on me knowing that I’m so far behind.

I have Cystic Fibrosis. It’s a lung disease so I’m constantly in and out of the hospital so I never get time for school. I struggle in math and some English and hope I’m old enough to get my GED diploma. I think it’s the best option for me.

I’m not really sure what I want to do yet, but I definitely plan to go to college. I’m 16 and live in Kentucky. I’ve been going through a lot the past couple of years. I’m in and out of the hospital like every two or three weeks because I have cystic fibrosis. I have been so stressed out because I’m so behind. I think getting my GED would be the best option for me. I’ve tried other things; like I went to private school to get some one on one time, but its a lot of money and I don’t really get the one on one time as much as I need right now. I just need to know if its possible for me to do so.
