Hi Jane,

A good tip for studying is to make sure that you have a set time and place for it. The place you study should be free of any excess noise or distractions. If you can't find a place in your house like that, you can always go to the library or a park.

If you have difficulty concentrating for long periods of time, let yourself get distracted. Study for 10-15 minutes, then take a 5 minute break and let your thoughts wander a bit. Have a separate notebook to write down your wandering thoughts, so you know you can go back to them after you're done studying. Then go back to studying for another 10-15 minutes. However, don't have anything nearby that could distract you for long periods of time, like the television, a computer, or even a book or magazine. If your thoughts are wandering, that's ok, but you don't want to encourage things to be distracting. Good luck!
