How are you doing on your GED?? I have posted some of my work. Hopefully, these essays will help you guys collect ideas on completing part 2 of the writing test. First of all, as a foreign student, I clearly know how hard it is to write a perfect essay. I had hardly searched different sources and kept practicing on writing with expectation to pass this difficult task. But there were no website that load the whole essays, so I was determined whenever I pass the test, I'd share my work to you guys. At last, my work benefited me and I successfully passed the test. I hope you guys also achieve your GED. See you in college!! :) A perfect day off. There are many good ways to spend a day off. People enjoy to do different things. They like to watch TV, go shopping, or visit relatives. Some others like to work in their backyard or wash their pets. As for me, I love to relax and spend time with my family. So a perfect day off consists of sleeping late, going to the park with my children, and staying up to watch a good video. To begin with, on a perfect day off, I will sleep late. On most days I have to wake up early. Then I have to rush to get to work by 6:00. When I have a perfect day off, I really love to sleep until 9:00. After i get up and to get ready, I will take a long shower with warm water, and then I have a cup of hot coffee while I read the newspaper. Next, my children and I really love going to the park, in the afternoon of my day off, I will ride my children to Lakeview Park. My kids love to play the swings there. We also like to walk a long the beach and watch swimmers and boaters. If the weather is warm, we like to go swimming too. After a few hours, we'd like to get some ice cream and drinks on the refreshment stand. Last, in the evening, I will rent a nice video to watch after the kids go to bed. I love old comedies, so I probably rent a Charlie Chaplin video. Of course I will make some popcorn during the video. To sum it up, on my perfect day off, I will rest and relax by sleeping late, spending time with my kids, and watching a good video. I am sure that spending time a day off in this way, I will be rested and ready for the next week of working. Character learn when I was a child This essay was on my official practice test. ( Each student has to pass this test first to be able to sign in a form for an actual test. ) My life has changed dramatically toward active. Besides, I welcome and adopt new learning. One of the qualities that I had learned since I was a child that changes my life is responsibility. First, because I'm aware that responsibility is important in public places or in any circumstances . On the first place, I follow the rules in any environment. For instant, I follow the classroom's rule to cell phone off and not wearing a hat during class. As a result, my teacher compliment me as a obedient student or in other older student I'm a good guy. In the second place, since my brother owns a shop which far away from home, he usually gets back home late. So, he doesn't have much free time to take care of his children. For this reason, I ask him to let me look after the kids instead of send them to our neighbor's home that he has to pay money every month. Last, politeness is somehow related to responsibility. Once, I received a phone call from my mom's friend. I politely asked her to leave her name and phone number, and carefully wrote down. Then, when my mom was home, I gave her that lady's information. According to this responsibility, my mom made profit for she and that lady signed in a business contract To sum it up, my responsibility benefits my family and me. First, in class I follow the classroom's rule just keep quiet to study in the first half studying time while every student working on their own shit, or i follow the dress code to not wearing a hat in classroom. Second, I responsibly take care my brother's children as I remind them to do homework, or I cook and feed them dinners. Buy doing this I save my brother money which he can use to pay his car insurance. Last, I'm proud that because of my responsibility, I helped mom kept track with her customer. now we live in a bigger and more beautiful house since my mom made a big profit on her business. The first paragraph should be an introduction to the whole essay. The middle ones should each be a single idea about your topic, and the last one should be a conclusion. So, for example, if the question were, "What do you think about global warming?" You might have your paragraphs set up like: 1. Global warming is a serious problem because... 2. Glaciers are disappearing. 3. Extreme Weather. 4. Sea Levels Rising. 5. In conclusion, these things show that... If you're having trouble knowing when to stop a paragraph, it might be because you don't have a clear idea about what your paragraph should be about. Make a list like this to describe your paragraph structure, and then maybe even make another list for each paragraph, explaining what you want to talk about in that paragraph. When you've said all you can say about that topic, you're done with the paragraph. Hi Brittany,
