Finally Trying
Name: Alecia
What motivated you to get your GED degree? Well, I was home schooled my freshman year and never went back to public school. Everybody told me, “You’re not going to do anything with your life,” over and over again, so I finally wanted to prove I that can. I want to be able to say that I finally completed something.
What problems have you faced? I kept thinking that I couldn’t, and finally I just tried.
What do you hope to gain from getting your GED degree? I want to have a good career so I can provide for myself and have money to do things. Mainly I want to have a good job.
Alecia,
It’s hard to take that first step. If we don’t believe in ourselves, even simply trying to do something becomes impossible. Continue to believe that you can do anything, and you’ll be able to! Good luck!
