Age: 38

City and State: Brooklyn, NY

What motivated you to get your GED? My children.

How have your friends and family helped you? My husband has always wanted me to have my GED, so that I can someday have a good job.

What do you hope to gain from getting your GED? I wish to become a teacher someday.

Sarah,

Good luck on your goals to become a teacher. Many of the best teachers are people who have struggled with education in the past, and can help other struggling students because of that experience. Teaching is also the best way to learn. Perhaps you can look into tutoring at local community colleges as a start.
