Jose,

Getting your GED is definitely your first step to joining your local police force. Police are in high demand now, and more are needed in communities across the U.S., to keep people safe and help make a better society. Thank you for wanting to help out!

Getting the GED doesn’t have to be hard. Take it one step at a time. That means, choose one subject you need to study, and work on that until you’re ready to take the test. Look for local programs to help you at nearby community colleges, adult schools, libraries, and even high schools. Talk to the counselors to find out what GED help is available in your area. To study at home in a step-by-step way that makes it easy to succeed, check out the GED Academy prep program, too. You can pass. Just take it one step at a time!
