Well, I am actually getting some material for my husband. He got kicked out of school when he was in the ninth grade. And I am helping him study. My family and friends have been very supportive.

My husband can’t get a good job. And getting his GED would change that. He wants to go to college and become successful.

NaSha,

Your husband is lucky to have a wife who can help him in this process. Getting a GED can be hard, especially after being out of school for a few years. Having someone to study with and to keep him motivated is a big help. Keeping a regular study schedule and staying positive will really help. Another thing that can really help him learn is having your husband do a lesson, and then teach that lesson to you. By having to explain what he’s learned, he’ll remember better and absorb more information. Getting involved with what he’s learning is key.
