Well, as you already know, my name is Jason and I am from Kent, Ohio. I live here with my beautiful girlfriend and my beautiful son also known as Jason. I currently do not work, but when I do I am usually stuck working in a warehouse either picking orders or assembly work. I love to play the guitar and spend time with my beautiful family!

Reason for Leaving School:  I left school when I was 17. I left because my living situation got messed up and I just never had the chance to go back.

Reason to Get a GED:  I want to get my GED because it will make me feel better about myself and it will also give me the opportunity to go to college.

One Thing I Need for My Dreams:  One of my dreams is to go to college and have a great source of income for my family. In order to do that I have to have a high school diploma or at least a GED.

Jason,

There is great opportunity out there for you and your family, and the GED can help you get there. You got through a lot of high school, and though it’s been a few years, you probably have a lot of skills that will help you pass the GED. Our advice? Take a practice test to see where you stand. You might be ready to pass one or two sections of the GED right away. Then, you can focus on the parts of the GED you need to brush up on. The GED Academy can help with a fast, easy, at-home program. The Ohio Department of Education GED website can also give you local information about GED resources available in your area.

Come back and let us know when you pass!
