I really need to get my GED so I can better myself and find a better job for my kids and myself. Then I know that I’m making progress for myself.

Reason for Leaving School:  I left in 1999 after I had surgery. I didn’t go back.

Reason to Get a GED:  So I can better myself and my kids. I need to get what I lost, and I know that I can do better.

One Thing I Need for My Dreams:  Getting my GED.

Cathy,

It’s been a while since you’ve been in school, so you probably have a little brushing up to do. But don’t give up. When you hit a bump in the road, find a way to get through. You can make progress. You can do better. You can get back what you lost.

GED tests in North Carolina are offered through community colleges, so start by contacting the community college near you. They’ll be able to direct you toward additional resources in your community. And as always, The GED Academy prep program offers fast, easy online GED prep. Let us know if we can help.
