I wanna do it this time, but do it right.
My name is Shaneka, and I am 24 with no kids. I think I should be living better than I am I dropped out of school in 10th grade. I should’ve stayed in school but I just wasn’t feeling school. I hate that I didn’t go back, but I been to job court plenty of times. I still didn’t get it but know I can with some time. I got dreams, big ones, so I wanna do it this time, but do it right.
I want to get my GED because I want a child for one and I want her to be smart. My dream is being able to work for myself.

Shaneka,
This is a great time to take action and make your future better. You can get your GED. You just need a plan, and you need to stick to it.
Tennessee has a great GED website for people in Tennessee who need their high school diplomas, so check it out: http://www.state.tn.us/labor-wfd/AE/gednow.htm . You’ll have to take a practice test before you can take the GED in Tennessee, but you can pass. If the classes aren’t helping, look for GED prep programs that will work for you. You’re in charge of your education, and you can learn! Especially now, with difficult economic times, the GED is incredibly important to your life and your future.
Good luck! And let us know when you pass.
