Just want to show everyone I can do it.
I am a mom of 2 kids, 16 and 15. Just want to show everyone I can do it. I left school because I got married, and now I want my GED to get a better job.

Judy,
You can do it… and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. The most important thing is to believe in yourself. If you’re confident that you can do it, then you’ll be motivated to take those first steps… and to follow through.
One important thing is to have a plan. Decide when you’re going to study, and find a study program that fits your needs. Be sure to look into the local programs in your area, at high schools, community colleges, adult education centers, and libraries, as well as online prep programs like The GED Academy.
Also… make sure your family and friends know this is important to you. Get them to help you in any way they can, even if it’s just providing some privacy for you to study every day. Find out about your local testing center, so you can find out when the tests are offered and any special information you need to know. They might even have information about prep programs.
Take it one step at a time… and remember that every GED test you pass is a success worth celebrating! You’ll be surprised at how quickly you can get there.
