I feel that school is not for me.

I attend Northampton West. I am in the 10th grade and supposed to be a senior this year, and I feel that school is not for me. So instead of me dropping out and not trying to do anything with my life I want to recieve an high school diploma so I can at least attend the tec. I couldn’t get in the right grade. I played around all school year not taking anything serious.I don’t want a GED, I want an high school diploma. My dream is to get a high school dipolma and make something better of my life by taking classes at the community college

I hope to change my LIFE.

De’Andrea,

Your best best is to stick with school and graduate from your current high school. Check with your counselors to see how you can make up credits and graduate as quickly as possible. If you’re looking for a high school diploma online–beware! There are two kinds of online diplomas: fake ones that can cause you all kinds of problems (like being kicked out of community college), and real ones that take 1 year or more of classes, cost thousands of dollars, and might still not be accepted by your community colleges. Trust me… The GED Academy works with many people who didn’t finish high school and wish they did. So, if you can finish high school… that’s what you should do.

If you can’t graduate from high school, your best option is the GED. The GED gives you a high school diploma from the North Carolina State Board of the Community College System. In North Carolina, the GED test is offered by all community colleges, so that’s a great place to start. You could get your GED through your community college and then jump right into classes. And if you need more information about the GED test or GED test preparation, check our website at http://www.passged.com.
