GED Stories

Stories to motivate and inspire. . .

I’m sick of working at dead end jobs. . .

I’m 43 years old and feeling like I’m going no where. I’m sick of working at dead end jobs and I know there is more out there for me. One of the best things in life I can say is I have a great family, a husband & 4 children, and 2 beautiful grandsons.

I left school when I was 16. I got all A’s until I hit the ninth grade and then it went down hill to straight F’s. I ended up that way is because I stopped caring, I figured if no one cared why should I. And my teachers made me feel stupid when I didn’t understand a question, so I figured I must be.

I want my GED because I would love to go to college and be somebody not for others but for me, I want to prove to my self I’m more than capable to pass the GED test. My biggest fear is not passing it.

My dream is passing the GED test the first try.
