GED Stories

Stories to motivate and inspire. . .

I would like to help children who just need someone to go to for help.

I was in and out of high school till the age of 19 when I just gave up and left with 16 credits to my name. The pressure I put on myself was too much and I ended up very depressed.

I have always had a hard time with school. For me it was always a pressure thing. I needed to be perfect and I always felt less than that. I work in child care now but really want to make a change; that is why I am studying for my GED.

I would like to get my GED because I would like to go back to school and become a child and youth worker. I would like to help children who just need someone to go to for help.

My dream is to find the time and the money to be able to stop work and take a couple years off to go to college.
