I have been 'home-schooled' since the 8th grade though it sometimes feels more like I dropped out because I didn't study like people do in public school. My motivation for getting my GED is that I am ready (emotionally) and want to go to College/University a year early. Now I just have to get my thinking capacity and learning skills up to date. I love Design - but not just the typical sorts of design one thinks of like fashion, decoration, and architecture. I think of design as - simply - How things work - how things are designed. From how a table and chair set can comfortably sit both a person who is 4'11'' and a person who is nearly 7 feet - to how a business is run so that all of the people who work there and the customers enjoy being there - to why one species of orchid is pink and another is white with pink stripes. I want to learn the art of how something fits, works, and operates so that needs and wants are met with flying colors. I want to become a Design Counselor with a household name that people talk about when choosing how to decorate their home, go out to eat, or buy their car. "Oh (whatever my household name would be) helped design this!" Therefore, I am going to for my GED to begin attending EARTH University in January. I have roughly 8 months to earn my GED and am looking forward to every second of it! Is anybody looking for a study buddy? ~Love, ANGEL I am 16 and am also studying for my GED.
