Animal Trainer

My story is unusual compared to most peoples. I need a GED for a couple of equally important reasons.

I looked on the web and found passged.com. I was really excited and hopeful that I could actually accomplish some thing this big. Because I was educated at home for nearly my whole life, I was not able to obtain a high school diploma.

My first reason for getting the GED is so that I can take courses in college, or at a university. What I want to study includes animal actors, animals who assist disabled people, and endeavor dogs. Then I can be an animal trainer. I want to train animals in a number of different areas. Endeavor dogs rescue people who are trapped in rubble from earthquakes and other disasters.

The other reason I have to get the GED is so that I can stay in Australia with my parents. This is not a problem for me yet, as I?’m not 17 until next month, but if I turn 18 before or after the immigration process, then I wont be allowed to stay here as their dependant. However, if I am enrolled in a university, and my parents are paying for it, I will be allowed to stay here as a dependant after age 18. But I need my GED to get into college or university.

Now I am spending most of my time preparing for the GED. I really want to be like my aunt, who trained dogs that rescued people in Oklahoma City. Passged.com gives my encouragement, so I know I can do it.

In five years from now, I will be training animals to save people all over the world.

I am 16 and am also studying for my GED. I have been ‘home-schooled’ since the 8th grade though it sometimes feels more like I dropped out because I didn’t study like people do in public school.

My motivation for getting my GED is that I am ready (emotionally) and want to go to College/University a year early. Now I just have to get my thinking capacity and learning skills up to date.

I love Design - but not just the typical sorts of design one thinks of like fashion, decoration, and architecture. I think of design as - simply - How things work - how things are designed. From how a table and chair set can comfortably sit both a person who is 4′11” and a person who is nearly 7 feet - to how a business is run so that all of the people who work there and the customers enjoy being there - to why one species of orchid is pink and another is white with pink stripes. I want to learn the art of how something fits, works, and operates so that needs and wants are met with flying colors. I want to become a Design Counselor with a household name that people talk about when choosing how to decorate their home, go out to eat, or buy their car. “Oh (whatever my household name would be) helped design this!”

Therefore, I am going to for my GED to begin attending EARTH University in January. I have roughly 8 months to earn my GED and am looking forward to every second of it!

Is anybody looking for a study buddy?

    ~Love, ANGEL
