GED Stories

My story’s a little different. See I don’t need to get a GED because I want to get a better paying job. I already make real good money. But I wanted to get a job where I’m home more with my family and eventhough I had all the qualifications, they said no because I didn’t have a hs diploma.

I’m 46 now and have worked hard all my life. I’ve had to go to school alot over the years to learn new skills for my work. I really don’t much care for classroom learning so I thought the computer courses might work better.

I guess it’s not always what you know that counts. Those little pieces of paper seem to count for alot sometimes.
