GED Stories

I am 25, single mother (6yrs. old) and am struggling to receive my GED. I have recently moved from NY to VA. Because I have no high school diploma, I was denied two job offers today (note to self- I am very diappointed at myself.)

I was sitting at my compoter and I was thinking about my goals and as always all the time that has passed in the ten years without a good education. I went to class off and on again and again. But it never stuck with me.

I want to get the GED because I need a better job. I’m sick of the crummy pay and no future. It’s time for me, I think.
