Measures of Central Tendency
What is a “measure of central tendency”? It’s a way to look at and get some meaning out of large groups of numbers. Usually, people think about looking at an “average” of a lot of numbers. But for the GED math test, you’ll need to know two main ways to measure central tendency… where the “center” of a group of numbers tends to be. Those are “mean” (what most people think of as average) and “median.”
