GED Resolutions for the New Year
Hi! Leonard Williams again. Happy New Year! Hope your holidays were great… I know that during this time of year, there’s a big holiday rush. You’re busy with family and shopping and all the things that make the holidays fun.
That means, a lot of the time, your GED studying goes by the wayside. And it’s okay to take a break. But it’s time to get back on the GED horse!
So, get yourself started again. Make it your new year’s resolution to pass the GED. And start by:
1. Pick Something Fun or Easy to Do First.
You want to get back on track. Don’t try to tackle quadratic equations. Try doing something short and easy every day, just to get back into the swing of things.
2. Make a Habit out of Studying.
Do you know what’s the best way to study? Get into a routine. Study at the same time each day. Get your cup of coffee. Do a stretch. Sit down at your computer. Then, start up the next lesson on your list. You’ll need to keep at it for a while before it becomes a routine… but after a while, it will get easier and easier. It’s a normal part of the day.
3. Advertise Your Goal.
Make a sign to put on your refrigerator. At the top, put: “This Year, I’m Passing the GED.” Then, underneath, put the steps you’re going to take to get there…. cross off your achievements one at a time, and you’ll see yourself progressing.
4. Make It Your Priority.
We’ve all got busy lives. But remember, this is a long-term goal, something for the future. Set aside time each day, even though it seems like you can’t! You can find a half-hour for studying. Hey, this is the important stuff, right?
5. Set a Date.
Give yourself a hard deadline by signing up for the GED test, or at least picking a test date. Use the test center locator to find the test center near you.

Hello,
It’s not possible to take the GED test online because there would be no way of knowing who was taking it. There are some good practice test available http://www.passged.com/practice_tests.php) that can help you prepare. Be wary of the online schools who claim to give a diploma online. Most of those are fakes and are not accepted at colleges or employers.
