June 1, 2006 Newsletter
Hello from Leonard,
This is the first of weekly emails I’m sending out to passGED Study@Home online program students. In the emails I’ll pass along study tips, current information about the GED, and suggestions for maximum success.
Today, I wanted to tell you about a great new feature we’ve added to the Study@Home Online GED prep program, GED Study Groups. There are four Study Group Communities, and more will be added.
The GED Study Groups are online communities where you can chat with others who are working toward their GED, express your opinions, and try GED Practice Questions to help your study.
In the blog roll you can find the links to the Study Groups. Check them out. These are open forums so anyone can post and add comments. All we ask is to keep the language appropriate and to be considerate of others.
Each one of the passGED online students has created their own Study Group. Each Study Group reflects the personality of the passGED online student.
The Study Groups are online communities created by LiveJournal, a social networking community. To post to the Study Group all you have to do is create an username and password – takes about a minute to do and is free. If you want you can even create your own study group community. If you have questions about doing this, send me an email or give us a call at: 888-880-2164.
Study Groups can help your study in several ways.
First, Your active participation in the group will greatly increase your success with the GED. This is a fact, we’ve seen it over and over. The more involved you get with others who are working towards their GED, the faster your study progress will be.
And secondly, you’ll get your questions answered and learn about aspects of the GED exams you might not know about.
And third, you’ll make new friends with people who like yourself are trying to make a change in their lives.
So, give it a try, and feel free to send me suggestions on how we can make your GED preparation more successful.
Until next time,
Leonard
