After you’ve been out of school for a while, it’s easy to start wondering, is it too late to get my high school diploma? Do you need your GED diploma, but are worried about going back to school? Online learning might be the solution. A recent study for the U.S. Department of Education ( http://www.ed.gov/rschstat/eval/tech/evidence-based-practices/finalreport.pdf ) reviewed studies of online learning from 1996 through July 2008 and found that students using online learning performed better than students in face-to-face classrooms. Surprising? Not really. Online education has many benefits. It’s easily tailored to the individual learner’s needs. Online courses can teach in your learning style, at your learning level, and at your speed, giving you immediate feedback and leading you step-by-step to your learning goal.
